In 2021, CreatorIQ acquired Tribe Dynamics. Two industry leaders came together, with two platforms, two teams, two ways of working, but ONE shared vision—to make businesses more human, and humans more impactful.

What’s in a name? Let’s break down CreatorIQ:
“Creator” is core to our purpose. Creators are at the center of how we connect brands with consumers. We believe it’s the future of marketing.
“IQ” represents intelligence. We’re all about data. We integrate with every leading social media platform and leverage our 10 years’ worth of first-party data to provide the analytics our customers need to make smarter marketing decisions, and celebrate wins, big and small.
The orange “Q” tail of the logo is an intentional nod to turning the page; to looking – and leading – forward in the next chapter of this company and industry.

We also incorporated more angular features as a nod to Tribe Dynamics, which is an integral part of our story, our company, and our future. It was important for us to maintain this history in our identity, as we wouldn’t be who we are today without it.
The value of creator marketing has been proven. Our new logo is a bit more abstract and open, because as we grow this industry together, we know creator marketing will continue to transform—and so will we.

Our vision is our north star. It’s bigger than marketing, and guides us everyday. It’s about putting creators at the center of brand and business growth.
Mission: Close the gap between brands and consumers by empowering authentic, safe, impactful relationships with creators on a global scale.
Our mission is how we will achieve our vision. Relationships are the currency of our industry. Every interaction between brands and creators will strengthen those relationships to drive mutual impact.
Context: Why Now?
CreatorIQ has been in the business of powering brand and agency creator marketing programs since 2014, when the industry was brand new.
When I joined Tribe Dynamics in 2016, we were still explaining what influencer marketing was and answering the question, ‘should we be doing influencer marketing?’ Today, it’s a much more nuanced conversation. It isn’t ‘should we do creator marketing?’ — it’s, ‘how do we do it right?’ and ‘how do we scale?’
Creator marketing is ubiquitous now, and our work is focused on building long-term success and longevity around relationships and community, all the things that made it successful day one.
Creator marketing has matured and proved to be a powerful business driver. Brands and agencies have become more sophisticated. New social platforms have emerged, our teams and customers have grown, and we’ve built and acquired new technologies that have enabled our platform to evolve alongside the needs of our customers.
It’s led to rapid transformation, and not just on social media, but across industries and business functions — in news and media, advertising, product development, online and in-person community building, finance, technology, artificial intelligence, and more. Creators are now leading consumer-brand connections and are a driving force in how we do business, how we connect with each other, and how we engage with the world around us.
This marked shift requires new approaches. Last year, we announced our vision for a content-first, creator-led future. This content-first approach fundamentally changes the way we discover, manage, and measure creator marketing programs.
One way we are realizing this vision is by modernizing and unifying the CreatorIQ brand to reflect the new era of marketing, business, and culture. Our customers, partners, and team members are driving forces in this innovation, so I’m proud and thankful to celebrate this moment together.
What’s Next
Last year at CreatorIQ Connect, we announced our plans for the next generation of CreatorIQ: an all-new platform bringing together enterprise workflows and intelligence, powered by 10 years of machine learning and data. This month we launched the beta program of the new CreatorIQ platform to a select number of customers. We’re working closely with them to test the platform and incorporate feedback and insights before it becomes available to all customers later this year.
Ultimately, what CreatorIQ looks like doesn’t change how our customers do business every day. And it shouldn’t! We’re laser focused on building the best marketing platform possible.
But it is an important way we are recognizing this moment and the future we’re building together. Our brand now reflects how we feel and operate every day. We’re purpose-built to drive results for our customers, helping you close the gap between your business and consumers, and we do it with intention, excellence, inclusivity, and respect.
