Michel Brousset is the Founder and CEO of Waldencast, a holding company and investment fund that incubates and accelerates early stage beauty and wellness brands, and helps them rapidly create scale and profitability via industry specific operational expertise. Michel founded Waldencast in 2019, and has more than 25 years of FMCG operational expertise, successfully building billion-dollar brands and businesses across many geographies. Michel started at Procter & Gamble and then moved to L’Oréal, where he was CEO of L’Oréal UK and later President of the Consumer Product Division for North America.

Jennifer Weil is WWD’s European Beauty Editor. She has served in the role for more than 25 years, reporting on evolutions and revolutions impacting the beauty industry. From a holistic vantage point, she covers corporate, financial, retail, marketing, brand, and product news, as well as rising trends and in-depth profiles of companies and executives. Groups in her scope include L’Oréal, LVMH, Kering, Unilever, and Groupe Clarins, as well as fledgling fragrance and cosmetics makers. 

Jennifer began her journalism career in Paris at the International Herald Tribune and city publications. She is a native New Yorker, with a degree from Middlebury College.
